Environmental Protection Possible with Public Awareness

Environmental Protection Possible with Public Awareness

'Oops',  It's so hot, wind has stopped. Some winds, some storms, some clouds many years of flooding and some years of drought. Please take away the black shadows of nature's wrath from us. When a human being becomes helpless and incapable, he stands before his Lord, Ram, God with folded hands and blames him. Believe me, this is not a divine wrath it is a natural disaster. The victim of abuse and exploitation from the age of 50 is now taking revenge on the developed human civilization. If there are limits to exploiting nature, then there are limits to nature's tolerance. In the last half - century, the balance between the environment and the ecosystem, which has been disturbed by human beings in the race for modernization, has not happened in the four and a half billion years of the creation of the earth.

Rapid industrialization, the use of modern equipment in nuclear bombs and warfare, nuclear and missile testing, extraction of minerals, gas, petroleum, deforestation, filling of natural ponds, etc. are some of the factors that cause environmental pollution. That it has not only harmed the environment but also unbalanced it. Nature is slowly advancing to destroy human life through catastrophe and flood. The reason is that the level of pollution on earth is increasing, which is 300 micrograms per cubic meter in urban areas, which is double the safe level. The amount of particular matter, greenhouse gases, especially carbon dioxide is increasing rapidly in the atmosphere, and carbon dioxide and methane gases have increased by 150 or 30 percent, respectively. Oxygen, which is currently declining by 21 percent. It has disrupted the climate and weather cycle. Pollution in the atmosphere is affecting people's lives.  Take a look at it :

1. The winds are below average and erratic, with floods and droughts. The clouds remain overcast but not overcast.
2. Groundwater levels are falling by about half a meter each year. Water sources and ponds are drying up quickly. Rivers have become muddy drains.
3. The number of underground water sources, lakes, reservoirs, ponds has halved in less than 50 years.
4. The average temperature of the atmosphere has risen by 0.5 per cent and the maximum temperature of metros has risen by 5 Degrees Celsius above average.
5. Animals, birds, creatures, whether they live in water, lam=nd or sky are on the verge of extinction. There has been a sharp decline in their numbers.

Harm to the environment has an impact on human society as well. Diseases are spreading rapidly. Cancer patients increased 2.8 times, respiratory patients 2.0 times, TB, sputum patients 3.4 times, depression patients4.5 times, Heart patients 2 times, stomach patients 25 times more. Intoxicated by modernity and development, sick human society is reaching the heights of well - being in a sick environment and is advancing rapidly. There is competition that Not you, I'm Big. Environment and Ecosystem can only be protected if they are respected. The Supreme court has directed to create public awareness for the protection of the Environment and Ecosystem. Let's all work together to protect our environment.

World Environment Day😀 5th June.

'Baden Powell' A Teacher of Discipline

'Baden Powell' A Teacher of Discipline

Scouting or Guiding is a kind of informal training scheme to make children citizens. The purpose of this training is to make children physically strong, mentally conscious and also morally strong. The main objective of this training is the holistic development of boys and girls (children).

The originator of the Scout and Guide movement was Lord Robert Stephenson Smith Powell, a British army officer. He was born on 22 February 1857 in Stanpol Terrace, London. Robert's father died in infancy. From an early age, Robert was interested in outdoor life, touring camps, and adventure. In his spare time, he helped his mother with household chores. In 1876 he passed the V.P military examination. he was made an army officer and sent to the 13th Hussars Regiment in Lucknow, India. In 1884, he was confronted by the Zulu people in Africa. Because of Powell's shooting and scout skills, the Zulus began to believe in him. In 1883, the British government sent them to war in the troubled region of Africa. He won because of his expertise in espionage. The Africans named them 'Impassi' meaning 'Wolf that never sleeps'. Baden Powell was promoted to colonel and sent back to India. Where they adopted new methods of military training which were later incorporated into Scouting. On these exercise and successes he wrote the book ' Aids to Scouting' for the training of soldiers. Meanwhile, Baden Powell was planning to travel to Africa during the Beer war. He was an army officer in the town of Mefking during the war. Baden Powell, under his able leadership, defended the town for 217 days when it was besieged by a large enemy force. Here Baden Powell brought the young boys together for messaging, guard duty, first aid etc. In this way more troops continued to defend the town. Baden Powell soon become known around the world for his skill and timeliness. He was assigned the task of organizing the African military. Here he saw that the boys were practicing Scouting with the help of hos book ' Aids to Scouting'. Encouraged by this, Baden Powell devised a plan for the training of children, and as an experiment he set up a camp of 20 selected children from all walks of life on the island of Bros planned training. 'Scouting for Boys' was later published as a letter of appreciation.

The children liked the system very much and soon the number of children practicing Scouting increased a lot. Then came the need for sound and planned work. Lord Baden Powell retired from the army and began to organize the movement. This is how Scouting was born. In his last days, Lord Baden Powell lived in Kenya, Africa. He died there on 7 January 1914.

The story of the Calendar

                                   The story of the Calendar

Form time immemorial, human beings have been in need of a systematic system to keep track of the days, this need gave birth to the calendar. The first calendar were made in Egypt. The Egyptian calendar 12 months in a year and 30 days in a month. five more days were added later to complete the 365 days of the year. Before this man had only the knowledge of months and the names of the days of the months were different, therefore no definite day could be fixed for any work. Therefore, the Egyptian considered it necessary to name the days when designing the calendar so that the days could be fixed for any work.

At that time people considered every seventh day sacred. The Jews also celebrated every seventh day as a religious ritual. The Egyptians created the week by adopting this system. He named the days of the week after the Moon, the Sun and its five planets Mars, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus and Saturn. The Sunday formed from the Sun, the Moon formed from the Moon, Tuesday originated from Mars and so did the names of the other four days. The English names used today for the days of the week were based on the names of the gods. This was followed by the efforts of Julius Caesar of Rome to revise and develop the calendar. Julius was king of Rome. Smart Julius had a special interest in literature and numerology. So he decided to study the calendar, but this task was not in the hands of Julius alone, so he took his astrologers with him. At that it was known that a year is equal to 365-1/4 days. The Egyptians calendar contained 365 days in the year, but there was no accounting for the remaining 1/4 days. Julius took a new approach to overcoming this error. Julius, like the Egyptians, kept 365 days in a year and every fourth year, which have 366 days, was called a 'Leap year'. By managing the leap year, what was left 1/4 days ago would be completed after four years. They followed the Egyptian system for weeks. One hundred E. Born in the East, Julius Caesar did this important work in 46 E. but unfortunately, two years later, he was murder by his close friend Brutus. This calendar lasted for about 1570 years.

But then the calendar error began to surface. The reason was that Julius had created a calendar based on the fact that it takes 365.25 days for the earth to orbit the sun but the reality is that it takes 365.2422 days for the earth to orbit this sun. The difference was very small, but by the year 1570, the difference was 12 days. An attempt was made in 1522 by Mr. Gregory of Rome to rectify this error. He finally came to the conclusion that the number of centuries that can be divided by 400, if February 29 is included in them, then this error can be corrected. This type of Gregory created a new calendar that is still in use around the world today.

The month of January is named after the Roman God 'Janus'. February Roman festival is inspired by 'Fabua'. March was the god of war of the Romans, and it was named after him. April is derived from the Latin word 'Aperir'. The word May is derived from 'Maima' a Roman goddess. The word June is related to 'Juno' the queen of heaven. The word of July is derived from the name 'Julius Caesar'. The month of August is derived from king 'Augustus' of Rome. September was the seventh name in the old calendar, so it was dropped from the Latin word 'Septum'. October is inspired by the Latin 'Octo'. The word November is derived from 'Novam'. December from the Latin word 'Decem'.

Hopefully the calendar will continue to be modified in the same way and something new will be seen in the future. The inhabitants of Egypt and Rome in particular have made significant contributions to the development and development of the infrastructure of the calendar.
