The Festival of Rakhi - A Symbol of Unwavering Faith

Festivals play an important role in our lives. These are the festivals that work to connect the person with the person and keep them bound by the rituals. The rakhri festival further reinforces this practice. This festival symbolizes the importance of brother ad sister in our India society. After all, the festival of India is a time when brothers and sisters live together, but the special day of rakhi strengthens the bond between brothers and sisters.

Rakhi is a festival that symbolizes the unbreakable bond of brotherhood and love apart from religion and discrimination. The bond of trust and love between a sister and her brother cannot be expressed in words. The most beautiful aspect of rakhi festival is that it does not adhere to the bonds of religion and caste. Today, the festival is celebrated all over the world for its virtue. The festival meaning of rakhi means ' Security and bond' is the concept of maintaining a relationship. Love and care for one's brother or sister is the basis of this festival. It weaves the whole family into a single thread and this unity is symbolized on this day as a festival. Celebrated on the full moon day of the Hindu month of July ( July - August ) this festival symbolizes the brothers love for his sister. On the rakhi, the sisters tie the rakhi on the right arm of the brothers, tilak them and take and take the resolution of their protection from them. However, the prevalence of rakhi festival is much more than that. Rakhi tying is no longer just a sibling activity. Rakhi is also being built for the defense of the country, protection of the environment, protection of interests etc. The world poet Rabindranath Tagore had organized as mass awakening against the festival and made it a symbol of unity and brotherhood. The sister greet the brother by placing flowers, fruits, sweets, roli, rice and rags in the trays, the roli tilak the brother with rice and the rags are tied in his right hand ( wrist ). Rakhi is the cord of sister's holy love and protection. The brothers tie a rakhi and swear to the sister that " If there is any crisis or trouble on the sister, they will risk their lives to help the sister in fighting this crisis.
